Text Box: About Spinal Epidural Haematoma There has only ever been 27 other cases reported in the world. 15 cases recovered completely 11 had ‘Residual Neurological Deficits’ & 1 person sadly died The need for urgent MRI Scans of the spine for early diagnosis and treatment to minimize morbidity is paramount. Joshua was 11 when in Dec 2006 he was suddenly struck down with this rare disease, which made him paralysed from his arm pits down. We need to raise about £1.5 million for the care Joshua will need in the future.
